Our Mission
Our mission is to raise awareness of the repercussions of distracted driving, specifically texting and driving, in memory of David Guzick. Dave was killed by an irresponsible, distracted driver.
David Guzick was driving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Route 443 and Dad Burnhams Road in Washington Township, when a woman driving a vehicle while allegedly texting struck the back of another vehicle, pushing it into his lane of travel.
David Guzick suffered severe injuries and was flown to Reading Hospital, West Reading. Due to the extent of his injuries he was transferred to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, where he died March 12, 2013.
Each year the Guzick family now chooses a local, non-profit organization that can benefit from their efforts.
